"Rehman Malik reportedly gave a presentation to the cabinet on Karachi's law and order situation."

"Rehman Malik reportedly gave a presentation to the cabinet on Karachi's law and order situation."
"And did our astute cabinet members ask pertinent questions."
"Like what?"
"Like, if he has documentary proof then why hasn't action been taken against the perpetrators of heinous crimes during the past three and half years that the party has been in power?"
"No, they didn't, they were not allowed to, or at least it was so was reported."
"But I don't understand. President Zardari does not attend the cabinet meetings, I know he takes all decisions but surely if he wasn't there then these cabinet members could have asked relevant questions and..."
"The Prime Minister stopped them from asking questions."
"I would have thought there wouldn't be many who would listen to the Prime Minister."
"He said the magic words."
"That the Karachi operation is now proceeding in earnest and that it is a non-partisan operation that would take all political parties to task?"
"No."
"That the Supreme Court has taken suo motu notice and its recommendations would be strictly followed?"
"Duh! No!"
"That Rehman Malik has been given carte blanche to actually sort out the Karachi situation?"
"Which world do you live in?"
"I assume that's a no too. I know Sharjeel Memon has been given the wherewithal to deal with the problems irrespective of party affiliations and..."
"No."
"I give up: what are the magic words that the PM used to forestall any uncomfortable questions to Malik during the Cabinet meeting?"
"He said Khursheed Shah Committee is seized of the matter, so no questions."
"Ah yes."
